This aromatic, flavorful, powerfully hot (up to 350,000 on the Scoville scale) pepper is used in Caribbean sauces. Slow to germinate, it requires a long growing season: expect these plants to reach maturity in August. Fruits are small (1″-2″ in length), resembling crinkly miniature bell peppers — but you won’t confuse them with bell peppers once you’ve tasted them! They start green and ripen to a deep reddish orange.
