As this houseplant plant matures and grows larger, its leaves become more defined, first frilly in effect and then deeply cut. Producing a few large stems with giant leaves, it can eventually grow to a height of six feet.  It needs well-draining, peat-based soil for maximum growth that is rich. It likes to stay moist, especially during its spring and summer growing phase. It’s adapted to a rainforest floor, so keep it out of direct sunlight.
