Look at these big, beautiful peppers from Peacetree Organic Farm! The Thai pepper plant is usually a smallish one — it tops out at about a foot in height — and that means that these plants are pretty well established. It’s a good thing, too, because this tropical favorite requires a long growing season. It rewards growers with a plethora of gemlike peppers, about an inch long, that ripen to brilliant red. They pack a punch, too, with a rating of 50,000 – 100,00 on the Scoville scale. They need plenty of sun. Because the plant isn’t huge, it’s suitable for a container, in which it will be lovely.
Hearty plants in quart pots.
