During this exciting year of growth at Hansberry Garden, members will gather on the third Saturday of every month to tackle important maintenance tasks and projects together in the garden. Our first regular Tend the Garden Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers are welcome for part or all of that time.

This month’s effort is especially important because we’ll be laying the groundwork for our upcoming plant sale, when we’ll open the garden to the public. All members are encouraged to pitch in — and we wouldn’t say no to a little help from our friends and neighbors, either! Stop by for some hands-on community building.
